North Carolina Central got introduced to FIU's Marvin Roberts, and the Eagles probably wish they never had met him.<p/> Roberts finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and even had three assists as Florida International defeated N.C. Central at FIU's U.S. Century Bank Arena. Roberts' shooting, except at the free-throw line, was nearly unerring as he hit 8 of 11 from the field. At the line, he was only 4 of 9. Nevertheless, FIU coach Isiah Thomas said of Roberts, ``Marvin's the real deal as a basketball player.''
